I love vintage keyboards...my favorite is my beloved 1972 Minimoog. That thing screams!! There's nothing like playing a taxim on it...especially when I've managed to get it in tune. I also like the OB-8 and the Prophet-5....v.3 of course (with 1/4 tones)!

Pete,
Analogue syths do truly having a uniqueness to them, such as my Korg Sigma...
How about posting a taximi or something simple with the Minimoog? Likewise, if you happen to have some of those other keyboards that you stated, it would be nice to hear snippets of them also played, especially the Prophet V v.3... I never knew that that keyboard can get quarter tones out of it? Have you actually played or heard that keyboard live to truly see if quarter tones were played on it, or just is this information from the brochures where it talks about 'microtuning'?

Yes, a lot of guys used to use them for Greek and Arabic music. I used to hear it at Athenian Gardens in Hollywood when I was a teen. I'll post something with the Moog in a few days. I need to dust it off!
