Hey guys,
Its been a while!

I was wondering whether anyone has had experience with the dbx 376 unit, tube pre-amp. I am looking at purchasing one, our band uses a dbx compressor which works well. As we are on the topic of equipment are there any other suggestions, perhaps Danny can give us an insight on some of the rigs he is currently using.

hey pete, yes im planning to use it for bouzouki, i read the reviews, thanks for that...i might give it a try at a gig and see how i go before purchasing

Yes, that's the best idea. I think that using a high-quality preamp on any instrument is a good idea...it might just give you the type of response that you're looking for. I always like to read what other people have to say about gear as well as try it out myself.
