Hello, Synthesi.
I was fortunate to see u both at the Long Beach gig. (now skip to the * below)
Your performance, fopr the short time I was there, was by far, the BEST live Greek performance I've EVER seen. And i've seen a few. It was so good, that it's the standard by which i rate others now. I have nothing to gain by saying this. I'm just talkin'.
I picked up some CDs at your gig, and gave one to a friend. If you have any additional recordings we'd like to know where they can be purchased. I know you record lots of other stuff too, but I'm only interested in something featuring P. on synth and D. on bouz. i don't dance, so i just listened till i dropped. 4 those who are wondering, the CD i'm talkin' 'bout is Dance til you drop
Question:
Is the Bakersfield gig still on? i know it's quite a ways off, but I'll need to make arrangements to head out there.
Also, will D.P. be playing bouzouki?
* There's gotta be other photos you could post. if not, I'll ask my friend (who's a pro - we'll even bring the right lighting), to take some of you guys on stage. now, please return to the top of message.

An additional comment.
The CD is a great dance tool. 4 someone like me, who's interested in hearing the mixture of P's synth wizardry combined with D's bouz wizardry, seeing Synthesi perform live is the most enjoyable way of appreciating both.
I know it's a selfish point of view, but i tend to focus on the bouz. no matter how intricate and exotic the synth work is. You guys did something amazing at that gig. you played your Evdokia recording thru the PA, which in itself sounded perfect. I was wondering who on earth could play like that. i've heard it before, but your sound system is so clean, the sound cut thru ambient noise, bounced off buildings and filled the air with so much straight ahead umph. it was breathtaking! Then, it looked like D. started playing along, then P. then, u faded out the recording as you replaced it with live performance. the transition was so smoooth, it was just draw dropping.
i can't tell u what a joy it was to be walking from the car park towards the festival that day, hearing the distant sounds of the band (especially the bouz - sorry P. like I said, I'm slightlty partial to my instrument, but a huge fan of your playing, too, obviously). I was like a 13 year old girl attending my 1st brittney concert. the ppl i was with were equally impressed. they had no choice. lol
the only unfortunate thing was that i told them to walk ahead of me as we were leaving, and that i'd do a last walk-by the stage before catching up. i never showed up at the car. i had the keys with me in the stage pit area - they had to come back and give me the stink-eye. i had a lot of explaining to do. ultimately, they understood that i was just mesmerized by it all.

Man....thank you VERY much! You are very kind. I'm really, really flattered by all the wonderful things you've written. I am very happy that you enjoyed our CD. We will be working on another one very soon. As far as Bakersfield goes, we are definitely on for that gig. That is a great festival! The people there are mostly xenous but they sure know how to get down and groove to the Greek music and the food is outstanding (and very reasonably priced). Also, thanks for noticing our little impromptu "fade-in" on Evdokia...these kinds of things aren't planned...they just happen! Anyway, best of luck to you and I hope to see you in Bakersfiel...please come up to see us and tell us who you are from the forum so I can make the connection!!
Best, Panagiotis
