Danceology and future CD's

I'm not Greek, but I enjoy Greek music... the downside is that I don't speak Greek, nor do I understand the language. I was wondering if anyone could give me a run down on the lyrics, or what the songs mean overall? I know its more complicated than that, but I think that if I have a gist of the song it will open other avenues to enjoy the music.

Also, would the future CD's from Synthesi include lyrics? In Greek? English? Greeklish? Any would be appreciated, but I have to admit, not knowing any of the lyrics and having to connect solely with the music itself makes the whole listening process quite exciting. I enjoy falling in love with the music and just the sounds of the lyrics, even if I don't know the words. I guess that shows how music, whether its in your language or not, can connect to a wide avenue of feelings-- and quite passionately.

Music is a powerful thing! There's an awful lot of songs for me to translate......perhaps you can pick one. Also, George could translate them for you. Most of the songs, as in many cultures, deal with romantic themes. The song, kanarini, is talking about a canary and how beautiful it is...however, the canary is a metaphor for some beautiful woman the person is talking about. It's a very old song. As far as future CD's....probably a mix of songs and instrumentals....no Greeklish! The problem with adding lyrics to the CD booklet is that it takes up space and requires one to add more pages to the insert and begins to cost more $$$....unfortunately.

I've been meaning to pester him about the songs, but he's been working 12 hour days lately, so I haven't gotten a chance to ask. (Maybe tomorrow). A small anecdote you might find amusing:

My mom and I walk together every morning, and the last week or so we've had your CD on constant repeat (Ipods, car cd players, everywhere). Sometimes when we are walking, George will be leaving for work, and he'll honk at us (and scare us to death) to get our attention and say hello. On Saturday, we were walking, as usual, and I hear this music blasting from a car. Usually its rap, or whatever people normally blast, but I turned to my mom with a puzzled look on my face-- It was YOUR music! Lo and behold, it was George with his windows rolled down and the volume up super loud. I laughed so hard because I realized my mom, Miriana and I aren't the only ones listening to your music constantly, George is too. Teehee!
